Description
Browning, Robert. The Pied Piper of Hamelin. (Chicago: Rand McNally, [©1910]) Hope Dunlap Illustrator.
Quarto. [1-10], 11-56 pages. Hardbound. Dark blue cloth-covered boards with red and gilt stamping and illustration laid on of the Pied Piper playing his flute. Spine is plain. Illustrated end-papers, profusely illustrated throughout in black and white as well as color.
Condition: VG+. Cover shows minor wear. Corners and spine ends slightly bumped. Laid on illustration shows some minor rubbing and a few small bubbles where the glue had not been applied properly, noticeable only by reflected light when the surface is viewed obliquely. Text block is mostly clean, with a few smears of something red, a few wrinkles and a 1/16″ tear to one page. While not perfect, a super copy overall.
