Duodecimo. [vi], 216 pages, 3 illustrations and map. Hardbound. Medium green cloth-covered boards stamped in black-bordered brown type on front board and black on spine with dust jacket. Illustrated end papers, Dust jacket shows Roy Blakeley series on rear with Tangled Trail as last in series and Tom Slade on rear flap with Picks a Winner as the last in the series pointing to a printing date of 1924.

Condition: VG in vg dj. 1 cm tear on front of dj at the flap fold. 1/2 inch closed tear to top front of dj, Small tears to top and bottom of rear of dj at spine. A tiny dogear at lower corner of front free end paper. A superior copy in a super dust jacket.

Tom Slade is at Camp Temple helping manage the summer onslaught of Boy Scout Troops. One young man, Hervey Willetts, has won many badges but seems not to be able to obey Scouting rules. Tom figures out a way to help Hervey learn that rules are there for a reason.- FadedPage.com
