12mo. 247 pages plus 3 pages of advertising. Hardcover in blue cloth-covered boards, stamped in black on front cover and on spine. Pictorial dust jacket (the artwork is signed Sargent) with advertising for other books in the “Every Boy’s Mystery Series” on rear and the Tahara series on flap.

Condition: Binding and hinges tight, paper still flexible, though toned as expected in books of this type and age. Spine cover is creased. DJ is bright with some edge wear, predominantly damage to the front where the flap attaches to the front cover (about a 2 inch tear).  DJ has been placed in a Brodart for protection.
