Condition: Top and bottom of spine show some wear. Spine canted slightly. Fore-edge shows light spotting. Light spotting scattered on random pages through out text-block.

Mima Nixon (1861-1939) was an Irish watercolor artist and illustrator.

“…she was active in Ireland from the 1890s. She exhibited some eighty works with the Watercolour Society of Ireland between 1893-1932. She also exhibited at the Dublin Sketching Society from 1887 of which she was a member and the Belfast Art society and the Royal Hibernian Academy.

“Her watercolours of Algeria and the low countries and Royal palaces and gardens were exhibited at one-woman shows by the Fine Art Society in 1907 and 1914 respectively.” – LookAndLearn.com
