Condition: VG+. Covers bright, binding tight. If it were not for some damage to the rear cover of volume two this set would be near fine. Rear cover has two tight 1/2 inch splits with associated buckling to rear cover, currently showing minimally, though ripe for getting worse through use. Corners crisp and unbumped.

Arthur Hamilton Norway (1859-1938) was a British civil servant and writer. (He was the father of novelist Nevil Shute, who was born Nevil Shute Norway.) Arthur H. Norway was an eclectic author who wrote everything from the obscure History of the Post-Office Packet Service, between the years 1793-1815 to popular travel books such as Highways and Byways in Devon and Cornwall to the literary Dante; the Divine Comedy, its Essential Significance. –
