Small Quarto/Large Octavo. 28 unnumbered pages in stapled wraps. Wraps are printed in red.
Condition: VG with signs that it had been folded into an envelope at one time but has been pressed flat, likely under a large pile. Staples show rusting and neighboring paper shows some staining. The photos show some of what appears to be water staining to the bottom half of the pages – this is barely visible in natural light.
This original catalog provides a distinctive insight into the grocery business on the eve of the Great Depression. Only five years later, the world would be plunged into the greatest depression in history and prices would collapse for a decade to come.
