Condition: VG. Hinges tight, some wrinkling to spine. Pricing notice laid in at title page. Previous owner’s identification on front paste down.

Provenance: This copy belonged to H. J. Reinhardt who apparently worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.

Tratman was the winner of the Norman Medal in 1888, which is “the highest honor granted by the American Society of Civil Engineers for a technical paper that “makes a definitive contribution to engineering science (Wikipedia)”.
