Quarto. iii, 254 pages including 1 map, order and reporting forms and a 16 page supplement (January 1, 1972).  Hardcover. Bound in khaki-colored cloth-covered boards printed in black.

Condition: VG, though a little musty as expected in a book on a sea-going vessel. Minor color loss to spots on the cover, hinges solid. Corners lightly bumped. All order forms, reports and update cards are present. Barely used.

A descriptive, as opposed to map based, piloting guide to the waters of the coast of Alaska as they existed in the 1969 time-frame with the changes to them between 1969 and 1972 included in a 16 page supplement.  This is the definitive guide used by all ships pilots while navigating the waters between Dixon Entrance  and Cape Spencer, AK.
