Octavo. 297 pages including index. Hardcover. Bound in brick colored cloth-covered boards and covered in a brown dj printed in black and red. Many articles on Heroic Viking Legend previously printed elsewhere and collected here in honor of the author by his friends and admirers, of which there are 12 pages of three columns each in medium sized print. Laid in are a number of items – errata, a printed card containing a Christmas poem with a printed note announcing the death of the author and stating that this was the last Christmas poem he has written initialed autographically by his wife Inez, a note from the author to a a subscriber thanking him for purchasing the book (TLS), a note from his wife Inez letting the previous owner know of the donation of Kemp Malone’s library to the Woodruff Library (ALS) and the announcement from Woodruff Library of the acquisition of Kemp Malone’s library.
Condition: VG in near fine dj. Slight spotting on edges of textblock, else clean and tight. DJ in brodart.
