Octavo. 98 pages plus illustrations, advertisement and 8 pages for subscriptions. Leather spine sample on rear pastedown and spine sample on rear cover. Hardcover, bound in olive cloth-covered boards stamped in gilt and blue with two laid on illustrations.
Condition: VG. Missing frontispiece. Stain on pages 155 and 166 (these pages are adjacent). Foxing on front and rear endpapers. Light mustiness. Spine showing wear, but hinges solid.
